Nazaneen describes herself as being fanatical about weather – so being signed up as a weather presenter to join Eamonn Holmes’ Sunrise programme on Sky News is pretty much a dream job.

Her first encounter with Eamonn Holmes was as a teenager when she queued up to meet him at a charity auction in her home town of Tunbridge Wells and asked him to say “hello” to her Mum on TV.

Nazaneen has been a weather presenter for 8 years, joining Sky News from BBC South East Today. Previously to that she started her weather career at ITV West, following extensive training at the Met Office. She was interested in weather from a very young age and used to practice presenting forecasts to her parents by reading Ceefax out loud from the TV screen.

Nazaneen, who was once dragged up on stage by Robbie Williams to sing with him on live TV, is also passionate about fashion. She even has a cat named after the designer Miu Miu. She also loves eating out with friends, music, pub quizzes and often fundraises for the charity Parkinsons UK.

Nazaneen is actively on Twitter, where you can follow her @SkyNewsNaz.
