Poppy Trowbridge is Sky News’ Consumer Affairs Correspondent based in London.
Poppy joined Sky News in November 2012 as its Business and Economics Correspondent. Prior to joining Sky, Poppy was the London-based finance and investing correspondent for Bloomberg Television. She covered bonds, stock and currency markets. Poppy also served as Bloomberg News’ European mergers and acquisitions reporter and banking correspondent, where she covered major stories such as the collapse of the 157-year-old bank Bradford & Bingley and the government bailout of Northern Rock.
Poppy has a master's degree in media and communication from the London School of Economics and an honour's degree in linguistics from the University of Ottawa/Université Stendhal. She also speaks French.
