Hannah Thomas-Peter is Sky News’ US reporter. She is based in New York where she films, edits and produces her own stories, often working closely with the Sky News Washington bureau.
Since moving to New York, Hannah has covered a range of high profile stories, such as the trial of Conrad Murray in LA, the Occupy Wall Street movement, the ten year anniversary of the September 11th attacks and the death of Osama bin Laden.
Prior to her appointment as US reporter, Hannah held the role of Sky News producer. Based in London she worked as Adam Boulton's producer during the 2010 UK general election coverage, which included working on the first live televised debate. 2009 saw Hannah named Royal Television Society Young Journalist of the Year and listed in Broadcast Magazine’s top 50 under thirties in the UK TV industry.
