Gemma Morris is a presenter and reporter for the Sky News TV channel and all of its repidly expanding digital platforms.
She joined Sky News in 2006 working as a radio journalist before becoming a digital producer and then TV presenter and reporter. Gemma was also a presenter for Sky Sports News' interactive bulletins.
Gemma achieved first class honours in journalism at the London College of Communication, University of Arts. During her degree and after, she freelanced for the ITV News Channel, IRN, The Houston Chronicle newspaper (European Bureau) and for local radio.
Gemma is a big fan of healthy living and nutrition. Her focus on food probably derives from having been a lifelong severe nut allergy sufferer with potentially fatal consequences. She was an avid skier for more than ten years until an accident shattered her pelvis leaving her temporarily in a wheelchair. The accident prompted a newfound appreciation for her legs and a keenness to keep her body moving as much as possible!
