Anna Jones joined Sky News in 2005 and since then has presented during major national and international news stories.
Anna broke the news that Sunday newspaper, the News of the World, was to close after 168 years in print. She was also live on air to break the news of Colonel Gaddafi’s capture and death, and during the fall of Hosni Mubarak in the 2011 Egyptian revolution.
Previous to joining Sky News, Anna spent 12 years at the BBC where she anchored BBC News 24’s 0900 – 1300 strand. She also presented coverage of the 2004 Asian Tsunami and was on air for the announcement of London’s victorious bid for the 2012 Olympics. Prior to this, Anna spent four years as the editor of a business magazine in China.
